Mix-Cal III is a range of simple robust and reliable mixing valves designed to provide hot water at selected constant temperature. The valve incorporates a failsafe feature to ensure shut down in the event of cold water supply failure. The control knob can also be locked at the selected temperature to prevent tampering. The valves have been independently tested by WRc and certified as meeting the requirements of BS EN 1287:1999 under the TMV2 scheme for low pressure applications. The failsafe design shuts off the mixed water flow automatically in the event of disruption in the hot or cold water supply to the valve. The Mixcal III range has been designed primarily for single user outlets including wash basins, showers, baths and bidets but is also suitable for multiple outlet use.
